Custom Stainless Pipe Fabrication for a Tight-Fit Solvent Pump in Central Texas

Not every installation comes with room to work. This solvent pump had exactly one place it could go - and the existing pipe layout wasn't going to get it there without some creative thinking. That's where custom pipe fabrication earns its keep.

We fabbed up a run of stainless using 90-degree and 45-degree bends to navigate the tight clearances under the vessel. The goal was simple: get clean flow paths to and from the pump without forcing a fit or compromising the system. No shortcuts, no hacks. Just good pipe work laid out the right way.

You can see the assembly taking shape on the welding table before it ever touched the install site. Getting the geometry right in the shop saves a lot of headaches on the floor. Each bend was carefully sequenced so the final run would drop right into place. That kind of pre-planning is what keeps jobs moving when space is limited.

The TIG welds on this stainless pipe are exactly what you want to see in an industrial environment - consistent bead stacking, full penetration, and a clean interior surface. That last part matters more than people realize. Rough or incomplete welds inside a pipe can trap product, create turbulence, or become a contamination point over time. We don't cut corners on the inside of a weld just because you can't see it.
