Custom Silage Wagon Built for Dairy Operations

Dairy operations don't run on off-the-shelf equipment. The feeding routine is specific, the space is specific, and the way you move feed from point A to point B is something you figure out over years of doing it. That's exactly why this silage wagon was built from the ground up - no compromises, no forcing a generic piece of equipment to do a job it wasn't designed for.

We started with a fully welded steel frame, built long and low to work alongside a feed wagon without a lot of fuss. The dump function was a big priority here. Getting silage out quickly and cleanly into the feed wagon needed to be straightforward - no wrestling with it at the end of a long day. The hinged drop hatch at the front end handles cleanout without having to flip the whole wagon or dig around inside.

The removable divider was one of those details that makes a real difference once you're actually using it. Keeping older feed separated from fresh silage is something a lot of guys deal with but don't have a clean solution for. This solves it without adding complexity - pull it out when you don't need it, drop it back in when you do.

The whole build started as bare steel - frame, skin, hitch, everything. Our custom metal fabrication work here meant every dimension was dialed in for how this particular operation works. No adapting, no workarounds. Just a piece of equipment that fits the job.
